The CCTV Installer performs a wide variety of duties and responsibilities which consist of directing, coordinating, planning, designing, operating and installing, troubleshooting, repairing and routine maintenance of video surveillance cameras and systems. Products include IP Cameras, Analog Cameras, remote controllers, NVR, and DVR Recording Devices. DUTIES

• Responsible for installing new security camera systems including cabling and Storage Device (i.e. Network Video Recorders (NVR) or DVRs.
• Install, remove and relocate CCTV equipment at on-site locations.
• Test, adjusts and troubleshoot CCTV equipment.
• Ability to test and troubleshoot cabling issues.
• Handle Work Orders, paperwork and transport materials to work site.
• Make recommendations for video security equipment and servers as well as materials for use in facilities.
• Climb ladders above 6ft to work on wall, ceiling, and roof mounted components
• Work in confined crawl or attic space
• Use basic hand tools such as drills, pliers, crimp tools, levels, etc.

Skills:

(Not limited to)

• Valid Driver’s License with an excellent driving record.
• Previous CCTV experience is a plus.
• Outstanding Customer Service Skills
• Previous knowledge of security systems & CCTV is a plus.
• Knowledge of low voltage electricity is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and be able to climb on ladders.
• Drive van and/or installation vehicle
• Able to climb in overhead spaces and over and under obstacles.
• High degree of precision working with minimum tolerances.

Willing to train, the right candidate. Low-voltage or construction experience
