We are seeking Low Voltage Technicians to join our team! We’llprovide all the training and tools you need to excel – Apply Today!
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the companyinstallation of telecommunication systems and other procedures, forthe company clients/vendors. The position is responsible forperipheral equipment, networking, communications equipment, andproviding support for the users’ end needs. Essential FunctionsWork within a team environment installing telecommunicationsystems, which includes cables, Set Top Boxes, set up andmaintenance of the phones, voice mail, internet/router setup, andcustomer service activities. Repairs, maintains, troubleshoots, andperforms testing activities on various cable — equipment,peripherals, data communication equipment, etc. Assembles installs,configures, and tests all types of cable equipment. Completes workorders such as installing equipment, connecting and moving devices;installing cable boxes; and troubleshooting wires not providingsignal to equipment Uses different types of test equipment andtools to troubleshoot/repair equipment. Installs cabling for phone,internet, WAP, and television systems. Performs moves, adds,deletes, and other changes for phone, internet, and cabletelevision uses. May have to move on-site equipment, tools,furniture, etc, above 50 lbs. May have to maneuver around smallareas such as attics, crawl hatches, etc, for cabling. Occasional evening and weekend work as occasional job dutiesdemand. Travel between job sites may be expected for this positionas occasional job duties demand. Frequently required to sit; climbor balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl through smallenclosed spaces. Lift and move up to 35 pounds, and occasionallylift and move up to 50 pounds.
