Work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials, and clean up installation and repair debris. Exhibit professional appearance and conduct and provide customers with excellent customer service. Must interact and communicate well with customers and fellow professionals alike. The job of an installer also requires the ability to communicate effectively with potentially adverse, difficult or discouraged customers. Installing, terminating, and/or programming end devices for access control, CCTV, and security infrastructure and various other low voltage systems in a commercial environment. Terminating and installing end devices such as card/badge readers, motion detectors, glass breakers, mag locks, cameras, focusing camera lenses, etc. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Associates Goals All associates must have current, valid driver’s license and very clean driving record. All associates must be able to pass a drug test. Must be independently motivated, able to work with minimal oversight and problem solve. Basic knowledge of and ability to operate hand and power tools. Understanding of construction techniques and materials. Summary In the role of Lead Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of low voltage systems, including CCTV, fire alarms, and security systems. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will utilize your expertise in schematics and electrical experience to ensure compliance with safety standards. Your core skills in cabling and service technician experience will be essential, while your premium knowledge in computer networking and system design will enhance our service offerings.
