cable, camera installation, intercom and speaker installation! We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Low Voltage Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems. This includes cabling, network installations, and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of low voltage systems and the ability to work with various tools and technologies. Duties Install and maintain low voltage cabling systems for telecommunications and data networks. Perform network installations including Ethernet setups and configurations. Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters for testing and troubleshooting. Conduct fiber splicing as needed to ensure optimal connectivity. Work with Cisco routers and other networking devices to configure and maintain network performance. Collaborate with team members to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions. Provide excellent customer service during installations and service calls. Qualifications Proven experience in cabling, network installation, or as a service technician in low voltage environments. Familiarity with telecommunications standards and practices. Proficient in using hand tools and testing equipment including ohmmeters. Knowledge of Ethernet networking principles and Cisco router configurations is preferred. Experience with fiber splicing techniques is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
