The ideal candidate will have experience with fiber optic splicing, testing, and network infrastructure installation in commercial, residential, and industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and terminate fiber optic cables (single-mode and multi-mode). Splice fiber optic cables using mechanical and fusion splicing methods. Perform fiber optic testing using OTDR, light meters, and other diagnostic tools. Interpret blueprints, network diagrams, and construction drawings. Troubleshoot and repair damaged fiber lines. Maintain accurate records of all fiber builds, splicing, and testing. Work on aerial, underground, and in-building installations. Ensure work is completed in compliance with safety and quality standards. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other field technicians.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred). 1-3 years of experience in fiber optic installation and maintenance. Knowledge of OTDRs, power meters, and fiber optic test equipment. Experience with both fusion and mechanical splicing techniques. MUST pass background and drug screen
