Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage/Security Project Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage and security systems, including data cabling and alarm systems. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the security and efficiency of our clients’ infrastructures. Key Responsibilities Install and maintain low voltage systems including data cabling, CCTV, and alarm systems. Troubleshoot and repair low voltage and security system issues as they arise. Read and interpret blueprints and site maps to prepare for installations. Collaborate with construction teams during ground-up projects to ensure cable infrastructure is implemented correctly. Support the installation of structured cabling systems and ensure compliance with industry standards. Conduct color identification for cable installations and ensure proper cable support structures are used. Document all installation processes and maintain records of system configurations and changes. Qualifications Proven experience in low voltage systems installation and maintenance. Strong skills in data cable installation and structured cabling. Experience with troubleshooting and repairing security systems. Familiarity with CCTV systems and alarm installations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site maps effectively. Knowledge of commercial construction practices related to low voltage installations.
