Location:
Brevard / Asheville, NC We’re looking for hands-on, driven Level I to Level II Low Voltage Technicians ready to take on exciting projects across Brevard and Asheville, NC . If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy solving problems on the fly, and take pride in clean, professional installations — we want to hear from you. You’ll work across a range of high-impact job sites, including industrial facilities, K-12 schools, universities, hospitals, large hotels, and casinos . No two days are the same — and that’s exactly how you like it.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Pulling, routing, and securing low-voltage cabling (CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, fiber optic) in commercial and industrial settings Reading and interpreting cable pathway plans, blueprints, and site drawings Dressing and bundling cables with precision using Velcro, zip ties, and cable management systems Clearly labeling all cables, patch panels, and outlets to meet or exceed site standards Assisting with the installation of J-hooks, D-rings, ladder trays, and other cable support systems Working on ladders, lifts, and overhead tray systems in active construction zones Bonus Skills We Love (But Not Required): Terminating twisted-pair cables into patch panels, jacks, and modular plugs Performing basic fiber optic terminations (Unicam, LC/SC connectors) Using tools like punch-down tools, crimpers, strippers, and fiber prep kits Completing patch panel work with clean, professional cable dressing Running basic cable tests (continuity, wiremap, length) with testers like Fluke or Ideal Supporting fiber and copper troubleshooting with guidance from senior techs Keeping detailed, accurate records of installations, tests, and labeling What You Bring to the
