A leading security client of TEKsystems is seeking motivated individuals to support the buildout of a state-of-the-art facility for in the Morristown, NJ area. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in low voltage cabling and structured telecommunications infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Pull and route Cat6 and other low voltage cabling throughout the facility Perform cable terminations, punchdowns, and labeling Assist with the installation of wireless access points, racks, and other telecom hardware Support structured cabling and telecommunications setup under the guidance of senior technicians Maintain a clean and safe work environment on-site
Required Skills:
Basic knowledge or experience with cable pulling and installation Familiarity with Cat6, punchdown tools, and structured cabling practices Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Strong work ethic, professionalism, and reliability
Preferred Skills:
Experience with rack and stack installations Exposure to low voltage systems and wireless access point setup
