Why This Role Matters As a Structured Cabling Technician, you’ll be a key player in shaping the physical foundation of modern communication systems. Your work will directly impact the speed, reliability, and performance of our clients’ networks—whether in high-rise offices, data centers, or new construction sites. What You’ll Be Doing Installing, maintaining, and repairing structured cabling systems in a variety of environments Building cable pathways using trays, racks, J-hooks, and other infrastructure Terminating, labeling, testing, and troubleshooting fiber optic and copper cabling Documenting your work with precision and clarity Ensuring compliance with safety codes, industry standards, and legal regulations What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent At least 6 months of hands-on experience in structured cabling or a related field Familiarity with BICSI, ANSI, EIA/TIA, and NEC standards Ability to adapt to different work environments—from construction zones to finished office spaces Strong attention to detail and a knack for solving problems Clear and professional communication skills OSHA 30 and SST Preferred Skills Experience with Cat5/Cat6, cable trays, J-hooks, ladder racks, fiber optics, conduit blueprints, and telecom infrastructure is a big plus.
