Cable Technician/Installer Southeast MSP Fredericktown, PA 15333 Please note this is a 1 week contract with potential work in the future. Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cable Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in network installation, ensuring that our clients receive top-notch service. As a Cable Installer, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of cabling systems, including fiber optics and Ethernet connections, while adhering to safety standards and best practices. Must have experience installing camera and access points also. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair various types of cabling systems, including fiber optics and Ethernet. Perform network installations and ensure proper connectivity for client systems. Utilize hand tools and equipment to complete installations efficiently. Troubleshoot issues related to cabling and network connectivity, providing timely solutions. Collaborate with service technicians to address customer needs and resolve technical issues. Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls. Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site at client locations. Experience Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in cable installation or related fields. Familiarity with computer networking concepts and practices. Knowledge of electrical systems as they pertain to cabling installations. Proficiency in using hand tools required for installation tasks. Previous experience as a service technician is advantageous but not mandatory.
