Job Title:

Cable Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Cable Technician to join our team in supporting the expansion and construction of a new building. You will be responsible for pulling and installing low voltage cables, primarily working with telecommunications systems. Responsibilities Pull low voltage cables efficiently and effectively. Install cabling for telecommunications systems. Set up and pull cables according to specifications. Utilize knowledge of cat5 and cat6 cables. Demonstrate proficiency in using hand and power tools. Essential Skills At least 2 years of experience in low voltage wiring and cable pulling. Proficiency in handling cat5 and cat6 cables. Ability to read and work from blueprints. Experience with conduit bending and installation. Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of construction processes and fire alarm systems. Familiarity with telecommunications systems and cabling. Work Environment The role involves working on an active construction site, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols. You will be provided with a hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves, but must supply your own safety boots and vest. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Memphis, Tennessee. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 – $25.00/hr.
