Diesel Mechanic MidSouth Forestry Equipment 4337 Highway 9, Springfield, AR 72157 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Midsouth Forestry Equipment. This role involves working with various machinery in the Tigercat brand including skidders, loaders, feller bunchers, and mulchers. You will have the opportunity to attend various Tigercat schools to learn brand specific knowledge. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related machinery. Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals. Repair hydraulic systems and components. Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and regulations. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems. Assist in the training of junior mechanics as needed. Qualifications Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly with diesel engines and farm machinery. Familiarity with hydraulic systems and equipment repair. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Valid driver’s license required.
