In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assembly / commissioning of large bore, medium-speed diesel engines. This will involve extensive travel internationally, with long periods of being outside of the U S. A. with periods up to 4 months . Travel costs are covered by the employer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance, overhaul, and commissioning of diesel engines, with the ability to analyze schematics and troubleshoot complex issues. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of diesel engines after construction and commissioning.. Duties Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines. Analyze schematics to diagnose issues effectively and implement solutions. Conduct stick welding as needed for repairs or modifications. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service. Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all tasks on-site. Provide training to clients on proper operation and maintenance of equipment. Experience Proven experience as a large bore Diesel Field Service Engineer or in a similar technical role. Strong understanding of diesel engine maintenance and repair. Proficiency in analyzing schematics and troubleshooting complex systems. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
