Hours:
7am -4pm Monday thru Friday Overtime available.
Responsibilities:
Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctionsRepair, reline, replace & adjust brakesReview work orders and discuss work with supervisorsFollow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined & other potentially troublesome areasPlan work procedures, using charts, technical manuals & experienceCommunicate with driver to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems.
Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications & tune-ups, DOT InspectionsComplies with all safety, DOT & OSHA guidelinesAdhere to company rules & regulationsEnsure cleanliness of shop & surrounding areas.
Qualifications and Skills:
High School diploma or equivalentMinimumthree years recentmedium/heavy diesel maintenance experienceEnsure cleanliness of shop & surrounding areas.
Must have own hand toolsBasic computer skillsCDLlicensepreferred But not requiredGood driving record & proven work historyMust be able to work in extreme heat & cold temperatures
