Authentic Diesel Services is looking for a qualified Diesel Diagnostic Technician Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, focusing on identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical issues. They use diagnostic tools and procedures to pinpoint problems, perform repairs, and ensure vehicles are safe and efficient. Key Responsibilities:

Diagnostic Testing:
Using specialized equipment and software to analyze vehicle systems and identify malfunctions. •
Repair and Maintenance:
Performing routine maintenance, replacing parts, and repairing complex issues in diesel engines and related systems. •
Troubleshooting:
Pinpointing the root cause of problems and developing effective repair strategies. •
Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and diagnostic findings. •
Compliance and Safety:
Following safety protocols, industry standards, and environmental regulations. •
Customer Communication:
Communicating effectively with customers about repair needs and progress.
Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in diesel engine mechanics, electrical systems, and diagnostic tools. •
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair complex issues. •
Communication:
Clear and concise communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. •
Mechanical Aptitude:
Aptitude for hands-on work, including lifting and handling heavy parts and tools. •
Education and Certifications:
A vocational degree or certification in diesel technology is preferred, along with certifications like ASE (Automotive Service Excellence).
