Are you driven by opportunity? Nextran Truck Centers is hiring! As a Diesel Technician, you are a valued member of our team, performing: Accurately and efficiently performs work as outlined on repair order in accordance with dealership and factory standards. Diagnoses cause of malfunctions and performs repairs. Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts. Saves and tags parts, if under warranty or if requested by the customer. Examines assigned vehicle(s) to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended. Communicates with service advisor/dispatcher immediately on repair, updates, and/or delays. Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order. Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor. Ensures vehicle is kept clean. Notifies service advisor/dispatcher immediately of anything has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle. Operates all tools/equipment in a safe manner and reports any safety issues immediately to management. Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Candidates have the following:
Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
