Our construction company is currently looking for experienced Diesel Mechanics. You will play a crucial role in inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines, vehicles, and both large and small equipment such as excavators, loaders, dump trucks, and semi tractors. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting mechanical issues on all faulty equipment and assets, performing routine maintenance tasks on all equipment and assets, and ensuring that diesel-powered machinery operates efficiently and safely. This role requires technical expertise in diesel engine systems, strong problem-solving skills with mechanical equipment, and a commitment to adhering to safety regulations and industry standards for both safety and operating. Effective communication and teamwork are essential as you collaborate with colleagues and communicate mechanical diagnostic findings to both supervisors and clients. Additionally, staying updated on advancements in diesel technology and participating in ongoing training programs will be integral to your success in this dynamic and challenging field and position at our company. Shifts – 10 hours
Responsibilities:
Perform minor and major repairs on trucks, trailers, large and small equipmentCollaborate with corporate shop manager to diagnose problems with vehicles, large and small equipment; and initiate and complete repairs.
Maintain accurate records of repairs performed on all equipment.
Other duties as assigned by the manager.
MUST POSSESS
2+ years’ experience as a Diesel MechanicAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.
Valid drivers licenseAbility to pass a drug test
