is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain our fleet, ensuring safe and efficient operations. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex engine systems, and uphold our commitment to operational excellence. - Diagnose and repair heavy diesel trucks and trailers, including engine overhauls, rebuilds, electrical systems, emissions, and transmissions. Execute Preventative Maintenance
- Ensure all fleet vehicles remain in peak condition by conducting routine inspections, repairs, and safety compliance checks. Utilize Diagnostic Tools & Software
- Leverage industry-standard equipment to troubleshoot and repair engine and electrical systems efficiently. Ensure Compliance & Safety
- Maintain adherence to DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies while documenting all maintenance and repairs. Optimize Workflow & Repair Times
- Prioritize repair tasks, maximize efficiency, and meet performance targets for quick turnaround times. Stay Updated with OEM Training
- Participate in continuous training from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to stay ahead of industry advancements. Manage Tools & Equipment
- Utilize personal tools and company-provided resources for all repairs, ensuring proper upkeep and functionality. Assist with Fleet Optimization
- Support vehicle service tracking, inventory management, and compliance documentation to streamline maintenance operations.
Requirements Qualifications & Requirements Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
8-10+ years of heavy diesel truck/trailer repair & maintenance experience.
Technical Expertise:
Mastery in engine troubleshooting, overhauls, and rebuilds. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, emissions, transmissions, and diagnostics. Experience with A/C heaters, refrigeration, clutch systems, lighting systems, charging and cranking systems. Preventative maintenance, engine, and electrical certifications preferred.
Software & Tools:
Experience with Trimble or related industry software preferred. Must have own tools and a strong commitment to continuous learning and training.
Licensing:
Class A or B CDL preferred.
