experience level: mid level job title: Diesel Mechanic We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mobile Mechanic to join our team. Vehicle and tools provided! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, with a focus on heavy equipment operation. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and maintenance inspections on a variety of heavy equipment, including trailers and heavy trucks. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about keeping large equipment running smoothly and efficiently.

Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, oil changes, and tire rotations
• Conduct diagnostic tests and repairs on heavy equipment and machinery
• Inspect and maintain air brake systems
• Install, replace, and repair shock absorbers and struts
• Operate heavy equipment
• Assemble and disassemble heavy equipment and machinery
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs
• Work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborate with other mechanics and team members to ensure efficient and effective repairs

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in diesel mechanics
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair
• Familiarity with air brake systems
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance
• Ability to assemble and disassemble heavy equipment and machinery
• Experience with trailers and heavy trucks
• Mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines
