for A TECHS!!! Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel mechanics and be proficient in diagnosing and repairing various diesel engines and related systems. This role is essential for maintaining the performance and safety of our fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are operating efficiently and effectively. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including but not limited to brake repair, air brake systems, and tire service. Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Assemble and disassemble components as necessary for repairs. Conduct inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues before they become major problems. Work with shocks, struts, and suspension systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Operate forklifts and cranes safely during repair processes when needed. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks while adhering to safety regulations. Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanic or Diesel Technician, preferably in a dealership or similar environment. Strong knowledge of diesel engine components and systems, including air brakes, suspension, and tire service. Ability to operate diagnostic equipment effectively. Familiarity with assembling and disassembling mechanical components. Experience working with shocks, struts, and other suspension parts is a plus. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
