Whiteline Express is seeking a highly skilledand dependable Field Service – Diesel Mechanic to join our team.

This role involves traveling to customer locations to performdiagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of dieseltrucks, trailers, and equipment. The ideal candidate will haveextensive hands-on experience, strong communication skills, and acommitment to delivering excellent customer service.

KeyResponsibilities:

Receive work assignments and customer schedulesfrom the General Manager. Perform scheduled and on-demandmaintenance, repairs, and diagnostic services on diesel trucks,trailers, and equipment. Communicate professionally with customersregarding job progress, estimated completion times, and servicedetails. Provide timely updates to the General Manager regardingjob status and any changes to the schedule. Maintain a clean,organized, and professional service truck at all times. Stock andmanage daily inventory, tools, and all required documentation inthe service truck (candidate must supply their own tools). Operatethe service vehicle safely and in full compliance with traffic lawsand safety standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of hands-onexperience in diesel truck and trailer maintenance, repair, anddiagnostics. DOT Inspection Certification and Air BrakeCertification required. Must be capable of supplying andmaintaining a sufficient inventory of personal tools needed toperform all job duties. Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.

Proven ability to interact directly with customers in aprofessional and service-oriented manner. Comfortable workingindependently on all makes, models, and types of diesel vehiclesand repairs. Physical ability to stand, bend, lift 50 lbs., andwork in varied weather and temperature conditions. Strongproblem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to managetasks efficiently in a mobile environment.
