The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in various technical areas. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring the optimal performance of diesel vehicles and equipment. The Diesel Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other technicians to deliver high-quality service. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of diesel engines and related systems. Perform brake repairs, tire services, and HVAC maintenance as required. Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical issues. Execute electrical repairs and maintenance on diesel vehicles. Work with Caterpillar machinery and farm equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Experience Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role is preferred. Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus. Strong knowledge of diesel engine components, systems, and repair techniques. Experience with electrical systems in diesel vehicles is essential. Ability to effectively use hand tools and diagnostic equipment specific to diesel technology.
