Heavy Duty Diesel Technician Position Available In Craven, North Carolina

Coastal Diesel Service is a family-owned business proudly serving Eastern NC for over 50 years. We specialize in diesel engine service and repairs, and were looking to expand our team!

• Position Overview:

• We are seeking an experienced
• Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician
• to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing major and minor repairs on engines, brakes, steering systems, and transmissions. This role is based at our New Bern, NC shop, but you may be required to attend roadside jobs in a company vehicle.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines and related systems
• Conduct major and minor repairs on engines, brakes, steering systems, transmissions, and more
• Diagnose issues using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
• Provide quality service to ensure customer satisfaction and safety
• Attend roadside jobs when needed, in a company-provided vehicle
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy-duty diesel repairs
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engine problems
• Experience in performing repairs on brakes, steering systems, transmissions, and engines
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
