un ⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Fleet Diesel Mechanic (Winston-Salem) Reliable Tank Line 1540 Silas Creek Pkwy compensation: Pay is DOE employment type: experience level: mid level job title: Diesel Mechanic Reliable Tank Line (RTL) is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to keep our fleet running smoothly. If you’re an experienced professional with a strong work ethic and a “safety-first” mentality, we want you on our team! Position Overview As a Diesel Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and servicing all tractors and trailers in your area. From oil changes, brake repairs, and tire maintenance to electrical work, AC repairs, and transmission servicing, you’ll ensure our fleet remains safe and operational. This position requires independent problem-solving while maintaining clear communication with Fleet Supervisors, Terminal Management, Dispatch, and Drivers.

Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel and gasoline engines, braking systems, suspensions, transmissions, and more Perform federal DOT inspections for tractors and tank trailers Maintain service and repair paperwork and RTA work order system Communicate with Fleet Supervisors and Drivers to ensure smooth operations Assist with spill response if needed Maintain a clean and organized service truck inventory
Requirements:
