What You’ll Do:
Heavy Duty Diesel Technicians are responsible for diagnosing truck problems and performing truck repairs. Technicians create repair plans and fill out parts requisitions for needed parts. They are also responsible for tagging all warranty parts that are replaced and for turning in parts with core value. Technicians must also communicate updates to their Foreman daily and must maintain toolboxes organized and workstations clean and safe. Technicians perform tasks and possess skills noted below and have efficiency ratings of 85% or above.
Responsibilities & Skills Assessment:
D-Level Technician:
Perform Basic chassis repairs Perform Basic engine repairs Able to Remove & Install chassis components Able to perform preventative maintenance Competent in Internal/factory warranty processes
C-Level Technician:
Basic diagnostic skills Comfortable with major vendor/factory repairs and procedures Can perform most chassis repairs Can perform most engine repairs Able to perform complete engine
Remove & Install B-Level Technician:
Advanced diagnostics skills Complete engine repairs within SRT time Complex chassis repairs within SRT time Knowledgeable on all vehicle component repairs
HVAC A-Level Technician:
Proficient on all vehicle component repairs Able to diagnose all vehicle component failures Competent in root cause failure analysis Vibration analysis Aftertreatment repairs Aftertreatment diagnostics Job Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or the equivalent Mechanical aptitude Positive attitude Dedication to Excellence Motivated Team Oriented Desire to
Succeed Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Must be able to pass post offer drug test, and physical
Compensation:
$23-$44/hourly based on experience and qualifications Plus Bonus Incentive Full Time position
