  An industry leading commercial vehicle company is hiring a lead Diesel Mechanic on 1st shift near RDU airport! Direct Hire w/ full benefits, experience as a lead Diesel Mechanic + stable work history required. Pay
• $34 Shift

salary:

$70,720

• $70,721 per year
  shift: First
  work hours: 8 PM
• 5 PM
  education: No Degree Required Responsibilities Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties
  Performs standard vehicle maintenance
  Performs standard component inspections and repairs
  Performs preventive maintenance
  Diagnoses standard mechanical and electronic problems, utilizing diagnostic computer when applicable
  Identifies root cause of basic failures/conditions and perform repairs as required
  Replaces defective components as instructed The essential functions of this role include:
  wearing steel toe shoes
  working in a non-temperature controlled environment Skills
  diesel repair (5 years of experience is required)
  diesel maintenance
  mechanic
  Lead Mechanic (1 year of experience is preferred) Qualifications
