In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will ensure that our fleet operates efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with diesel engines and related systems using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks. Assemble and align engine components to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to conduct repairs on various diesel-powered vehicles. Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they become serious issues. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles. Operate forklifts safely when moving heavy parts or equipment as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or Mechanic in a dealership or similar environment is preferred. Familiarity with electrical systems in diesel engines is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with vehicle maintenance and repair. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Knowledge of safety protocols when working with heavy machinery and tools.
