Responsibilities:

/n/n /n/t

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehiclesand equipment within planned time tolerances to maximize thesafety, reliability, and cost efficiency throughout the life cycleof the fleet /n/t
• Perform FAI/CVI (Annual) inspections on allfleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, converter dollies,light-duty vehicles, and any other company-owned equipment per allfederal, state, and local legal and regulatory agencies. (Includesall state-required inspections and frequencies) /n/t
• Performquality preventive maintenance inspections per company methods onall fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, converter dollies,lift-gates, light-duty vehicles, and any other company-ownedequipment /n/t
• Perform quality maintenance repairs as required tomaximize safety and reliability on all fleet vehicles includingtractors, trailers, converter dollies, lift-gates, light-dutyvehicles, and any company-owned equipment /n/t
• Address all DriverVehicle Inspection Reports write-ups timely, and efficiently /n/t
• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repairs tomanufacturer specifications including but not limited to engines,transmissions and clutches, drive-line, differential, steering andsuspension, fuel and ignition system, exhaust systems (includingregeneration systems), intake systems, electrical systems, brakesystems, HVAC systems, and lift-gate hydraulic, mechanical andelectrical systems /n/t•Follow procedures including documentingall work performed on work orders /n/t•Learn and developefficiency in Sysco computer programs /n/t•Proficient inelectrical meter testing /n/t•Knowledge of controls and electric(DC (distribution center) low voltage /n/t•Electric motorknowledge (DC) /n/t•Complete electrical repairs and weldingprojects as needed /n /n/n

Qualifications:

• PreferredEducation/n/n/t /n/t/t
• High school diploma or GED /n/t/t
• 2-3Years of hands-on experience or Medium / Heavy Duty truck technicaltraining /n/t /n/t /n/t
• Preferred Experience/n/t /n/t/t
• Currentand valid driver’s license
• CDL preferred /n/t/t
• 2-year schooland 1 year of experience OR 3 years of experience in fleetmaintenance and repair of large trucks /n/t /n/t /n/t
• PreferredCertifications, Licenses, and Registrations/n/t /n/t/t
• AnnualInspector Certification, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities /n/t/t
• Brake Inspector Certification, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities/n/t/t
• ASE certifications; Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty Trucks(Preferred, Not Required) /n/t/t
• 609 HVAC Certification /n/t/t
