Description Diesel Truck Mechanic JDM Materials Company is seeking a Truck Mechanic with a Minimum of 2 years’ experience. A qualified candidate will be proficient in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of the following Truck and Trailer systems:
- Diesel Engines
- Aftertreatment
- Transmission and Differentials
- Air brake
- Hydraulic
- Electrical
- Lighting
- Steering and Suspension
- Tires We are looking for a mechanic with:
- Class A CDL (or willing to obtain within 6 months w/ Company assistance)
- Inspection License (or willing to obtain within 6 months w/ Company assistance)
- Clean Driving Record
- Ability to work Overtime
- A flexible schedule Job Description and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Diagnosis and repair of all previously mentioned Truck and Trailer systems.
- Perform Safety Inspections and ensure DOT compliance.
- Complete and File all PM and Safety inspection paperwork as directed.
- Make repairs based on daily driver inspection reports.
- Perform the Routine Maintenance of all owned vehicles.
- Repair and Replace tires as needed.
- Work both in and out of a Shop, and on road as necessary.
- Report defects promptly and determine corrective action.
- Advise shop foreman of daily actions and maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Experience with Terex and Oshkosh Mixer Trucks a Plus Applicant must furnish Own Tools and Storage Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment and Random Drug Screening. Must have Valid Driver’s License.
