We are looking for experienced Diesel Technicians/Mechanics. Pay starting at 18.00 and up and we train to gain. On top of your hourly wage all can earn commission. We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing diesel engines, with a focus on tractor-trailer systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our fleet. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including shocks and struts. Diagnose issues using schematics and technical manuals to ensure accurate repairs. Conduct electrical system inspections and repairs on various industrial equipment. Provide tire service, including installation, rotation, and balancing of tires. Operate forklifts safely while moving equipment and parts as needed. Fabricate parts or components when necessary to enhance repair processes. Maintain detailed records of all service performed and parts used for each vehicle. Collaborate with other service technicians to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. Skills Proficiency in maintaining diesel engines and related systems, particularly in tractor-trailer applications. Strong understanding of electrical systems and ability to read schematics effectively. Experience with industrial equipment maintenance and repair techniques. Ability to perform tire services efficiently and safely. Forklift operation certification is preferred but not required; training may be provided. Fabrication skills are a plus, enabling the creation of custom parts as needed. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
