Responsibilities Diagnose and repair heavy trucks in accordance with factory standards. Diesel engine maintenance/repair maintenance. Hydraulic diagnosis/repair, electrical troubleshooting, and repairs required. Communicate with service advisors regarding additional work needed. Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order. Maintain a clean and professional work environment. Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs. Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times. Preferred Certifications (Not Required) Paccar MX Certification Cummins Engine Certification (ISB, ISC & ISX 2150-2350) HVAC Certification for Commercial Trucks Manual Drive Train and Axle Certification Brakes Certification for Medium/Heavy Trucks Drive Train Certification (Eaton and Meritor) State Emissions & Vehicle Inspector Certifications Physical Requirements Ability to stand, climb, kneel, and lift up to 100 lbs when necessary. Comfortable working in a shop environment and handling a variety of tools and equipment. Pre-employment drug, background, and MVR screening required.
