We are seeking a versatile and driven Dual Diesel Mechanic & Road Service Technician who thrives in both a structured shop environment and the fast-paced challenges of on-the-road diagnostics and repair. Position Summary This dual-role position is ideal for a self-motivated individual skilled in both shop-based diesel diagnostics and mobile roadside repairs. You will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown services on a wide range of medium- and heavy-duty diesel vehicles.

Key Responsibilities In-Shop Duties:

Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel trucks and equipment Conduct engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, and HVAC repairs Maintain accurate records of services and parts used Assist with preventative maintenance schedules and fleet evaluations

Road Service Duties:

Respond promptly to service calls in the field, including roadside breakdowns and emergency repairs Troubleshoot and perform on-site repairs using mobile service truck and diagnostic equipment Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely updates and resolutions Maintain safety, cleanliness, and readiness of the service vehicle at all times Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a diesel technician or heavy-duty truck mechanic Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred, but not required) Strong diagnostic skills using modern scan tools and software Ability to work independently in the field and manage on-call responsibilities Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a variety of outdoor weather conditions Own tools and equipment required for road service and shop repair work Preferred Skills & Certifications ASE Certifications (T Series or equivalent) Familiarity with Cummins, Detroit, and International engines Welding and fabrication experience DOT Inspection Certification a plus Schedule & Compensation Full-Time | Monday-Friday with rotating on-call weekend shifts Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Overtime opportunities + Road Service pay differential Company service vehicle and fuel card provided for mobile calls Uniforms, PPE, and ongoing training provided Why Join Us?
