Paid Vacation and Holidays Shift:
Monday through Friday from8am to 5pm Position Summary This position is required to safely and accurately perform generalproperty and vehicle maintenance & repair duties in and around theshop operations in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge andunderstanding basic and intermediate preventative maintenance andrepair techniques of Class 5 through Class 8 commercial vehicles toinclude tank trailer inspection and maintenance related to theFederal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations isrequired. Essential Functions Train/assist other technicians in performing preventive/repairof facilities and equipment to include trucks, tractors andtrailers. Create and complete work order entries. Maintain work order andvehicle maintenance records. Conduct all levels of preventive maintenance functions such asregular servicing of vehicles including oil changes, and equipmentinspections. Electrical diagnostics, repair and replacement. Lead and/or assist with the physical parts inventory, receivingand proper charge out of parts to work orders. Learn and become proficient utilizing the company’s maintenancesoftware program to create and complete work orders. Performs general cleaning and repair duties.
