We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and technical knowledge and experience in diesel engine repair. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues effectively and efficiently. Duties Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections. Conduct diagnostics to identify problems using automotive diagnostic tools. Repair and replace defective parts, components, or systems in diesel engines. Operate heavy equipment as needed for repairs or testing. Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Perform Computer Diagnostics. Requirements Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role in vehicle maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in diesel engine repair. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques. Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred. Ability to work independently. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry advancements. Certification from a recognized trade school or equivalent experience is a plus.
