Electrical experience in generator sets is also a plus. This is a great opportunity for a knowledgeable Technician to apply his or her skills in a company that offers a highly competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. This position is located Memphis TN. What are the Duties?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Engine repair Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics Up-fit, diagnose and repair diesel engines and industrial generator sets Troubleshooting and Inspections Good computer skills and good verbal communication Use diagnostic tools and software for system troubleshooting Must be able to work independently Standard/Advanced Tools required Basic engine maintenance Manufacturing to customer specifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3+ years’ experience
REQUIRED
Certificate of degree from diesel program preferred PHYSICAL and
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance. The associate must be able to read and write reports. Implement and enforce Health and Safety legislations, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
