Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Ford Transmission Technician to join our Fixed Operations team. The ideal candidate is certified, detail-oriented, and has a deep understanding of transmission systems. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing both automatic and manual transmissions, ensuring our customers get back on the road safely and confidently.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and rebuild Ford transmission systems (automatic and manual) Perform routine maintenance and inspections on drivetrain components Utilize OEM diagnostic equipment and technical service bulletins (TSBs) Ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs Work collaboratively with service advisors and other technicians
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of transmission repair experience (Ford experience preferred) Ford STST / Ford Transmission certification highly desirable ASE certification a plus Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Must have your own tools Valid driver’s license and clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent
