Conveyor Technician-Skilled Trade Opportunity WyCo Services Covington, LA 70433 ## Job Overview Are you mechanically inclined? Previous work history with tools, ‘hands-on’ jobs AND willing to learn a trade? The ideal candidate will have entry-level work skills of maintenance and repairs. The training will provide hands-on work duties performing general maintenance tasks while gaining knowledge on conveyor and/or material handling equipment. You will work at customer sites and must have good customer service skills with the ability to follow customer site policies. ## Duties Covington Louisiana and surrounding areas Previous hands-on experience dealing with mechanical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and/or tools and equipment in a work environment. Must be willing and able to work safely by following all safety policies and procedures. Ability to learn equipment, parts, etc. associated with the conveyor business while the paperwork side of the business with electronic reporting. Must have the ability to successfully work independently or as part of a team and to travel to other areas with an experienced tech to provide service to customers in the Greater Covington, LA (possible travel up to a 120 mile area) . Works day-shift hours primarily Monday-Friday but must be available to work evenings or weekends in the event of a customer emergency. ## Requirements

• A Valid Driver’s license with satisfactory MVR to be able to operate a company vehicle; ability to successfully complete the employment process to meet customer facility requirements.
• Previous ‘hands-on’ or trades work experience or trade skill training.
• Willingness to learn and gain knowledge ; put that knowledge to use by performing satisfactorily.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Willingness to travel; excellent communication skills and a problem-solving, solutions-oriented focus.
• Provide excellent customer service while addressing maintenance concerns.
• Ability to be at work, on time and work the shift as scheduled.
• Opportunity for additional hours: emergency call-outs as well as potential occasional over night and travel assignments.
