Technician Opening in Bangor, Maine (Temp Assignment)

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30

PM Rate:

$19 – $21 per hour We are looking for a 40-hour per week technician for a temporary assignment due to a current employee’s leave of absence. The ideal candidate will have experience as a wheelchair technician, but if not, we are looking for someone with general experience using hand tools and basic power tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Lifting up to 50 lbs. Assist with wheelchair repairs, equipment assembly, and other technician tasks. Perform warehouse duties such as shipping/receiving, inventory support, and unboxing packages. Work closely with customers and clients who are disabled, including potential branch and road deliveries of equipment. Help with cleaning and tidying the warehouse. Assist the technician with two-person jobs and other hands-on tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Previous warehouse experience preferred. Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools (experience with standard metric tools is a plus). Valid driver’s license (company vehicle provided). Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. Strong organizational skills and a proactive work ethic. Ability to work independently or with a team.

Note:
