Organization Gas Services BusinessUnit Service North America Full / Part time Full-time ExperienceLevel Early Professional A Snapshot of Your Day The GeneratorOperations Engineer leads teams to develop new processes, tools andprocedures to implement maintenance plans for the generator fleet.

This position will be responsible for managing complex R Dprojects, cost reduction and standardization efforts. The OpsEngineer will also support the District Service Offices indeveloping generic and site-specific outage plans includingoccasional outage execution. The position requires occasionaltravel to project sites to participate in field walk-downs, TMSmeetings and outage support as determined by the DSO. If requestedby the DSO, the role may lead a crew to perform scopes of workassociated with the generator. How You’ll Make an ImpactResponsible for developing and optimizing processes to improvesafety, quality, and schedule of generator outages. Responsible fordeveloping training criteria for technicians and engineers onspecialized tooling and equipment. Responsible for seeking andimplementing cost savings projects. Support field serviceorganization as technical support or field engineer during peakoutage season when demands dictate. What You Bring Bachelors Degreein Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, orrelated field. Determined and resourceful to achieve goalsindependently in addition to working well in groups. Ability towork in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing work foryourself and others, under strict timelines and being flexible tochanging needs. Prior experience with Siemens Energy’s customers,equipment, and processes is a plus! Excellent technical writingskills and effective communication (verbal/written) abilities.

Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and ability to learnothers as needed). Flexibility and willingness for domestic andinternational travel 20%.
