Job Description BAE Systems is seeking applicants for a position as an Engineer or high-level Strategic Weapon System Technician with experience to work in the field supporting the Ohio/Vanguard Class Attack Weapon System / Strategic Weapon System (SWS) program. This person will be on-site to support the OHIO, Vanguard and future Columbia, Dreadnought Class Submarines aboard Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia to support our work as a prime contractor on a high-profile U.S. Navy weapon system for Strategic Systems Programs (SSP). The successful candidate will have the primary task of providing SSP support to SSBNs, SSGNs, Strategic Weapons Facility (SWF) Trident Refit Facility (TRF), Commander Submarine Squadron (CSS) and Submarine Readiness Squadrons (SRS) and SSP Technical Branches and SSP Contractors as a representatives of SSP. As the Field Service Engineer for System Integration, your responsibilities span engineering management, personnel management, and customer relationship management including:

Maintenance Concerns, Considerations, & MaintenanceFacilitate problem resolution of system level weapon system issuesThis position is responsible for working with the TRF/SWF Chief Engineer, TRF Business Office, various SWF/TRF shops/codes, NAVSEA/SSP contractors and government personnel to support the successful completion of SSP installations, Unique Repairs, Special Weapons Tests and US/UK Demonstration & Shakedown Operations at the TRF and Strategic Weapons Facility. $94728 – $161038Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
