Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Biomedical Field Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing inspections, installations, calibrations, repairs, and preventive maintenance on speciality medical equipment. You will ensure that the equipment meets safety and performance standards, collaborating with health-care professionals to optimize the functionality of critical medical systems.

What You’ll Do:

Perform inspections, calibrations, installations, and repairs on various speciality medical equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues using remote diagnostics, laptop-based test protocols, and hands-on tools. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment complies with OEM specifications for safety and performance. Utilize power tools, measuring devices, and manufacturers’ service documentation to maintain and repair medical devices. Collaborate with health-care professionals and OEM technical staff to ensure equipment functions properly and safely. Demonstrate and explain the correct operation of equipment to medical personnel. Stay updated on industry advancements and apply best practices in medical equipment management. Travel to health-care facilities as needed to support national and regional accounts. Assist with selling Tri-Imaging Solutions’ services to both new and existing customers. What You’ll Need (Requirements): Associate degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent industry experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience in imaging or medical device service. Strong technical skills with the ability to use diagnostic tools, laptop-based protocols, and power tools. Knowledge of medical terminology, human anatomy, physics, and electronics. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to travel extensively, sometimes with little notice. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary.

Working Conditions:

Ability to manage a large geographical territory requiring frequent travel. Self-supervision and the initiative to solve customer issues creatively.
