Organization Gas Services Business Unit Service NorthAmerica Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level EarlyProfessional A Snapshot of Your Day Main objective of the positionis to provide seasonal field engineering oversight on all types ofgenerator work. The Seasonal Generator Field Services Engineer willbe accountable to perform crew supervision, inspection, testing,and communication to customers both internal and external. Thisposition is part of Turbine and Generator Specialty Services basedin Region North America but serves customers globally . How You’llMake an Impact Direct teams of field service engineers, techniciansand craft labor personnel in the installation, repair maintenance,and troubleshooting of generators at various customer sites.

Conduct electrical and mechanical specialty testing (low and highvoltage) as required. Coordinate and manage staffing of projectteam at customer sites. Provide generator and generator interfaceknowledge and expertise to division management, customermanagement, product line management and suppliers. Ensures all workis performed per approved processes and procedures whilemaintaining the highest levels of safety and quality. Prepare andforward accurate reports concerning the condition and repairs andrecommendations for customer equipment. What You Bring Bachelor’sdegree in engineering or similar field required. Minimum of 6 mosexperience in field service is preferred; Candidates with moreexperience may be eligible for a more senior level position.

Working knowledge of large electrical apparatus, including but notlimited to, generator inspection, testing, generator rewinds andrepairs. Must possess organizational skills, planning, attention todetail and safety culture. This position is 100% REMOTE due to 100%travel is required. Applicants must be legally authorized foremployment in the United States without need for current or futureemployer-sponsored work authorization.
