EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or a High school diploma (with good industrial experience) will be considered in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of three (3) years of related experience
Resourceful, self-managed and goal driven with the ability to work effectively in a team
Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and technical writing skills
Ability to travel to domestic sites and international Andritz sites for training.
JOB DESCRIPTION / PRINCIPAL DUTIES
You will provide conceptual design, detail engineering and commissioning support on a wide variety of industrial projects for our customers. Most projects will require a multidisciplinary skillset, involving understanding and analysis of the physical process and mechanical assembly drawings. You will be most successful if you have excellent communication skills and enjoy learning new systems and skills regularly.
Major responsibilities may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:
Servicing paper, nonwoven, or textile machinery
Support customer installs of mechanical upgrades and retrofits.
Solve production and process problems on a day to day basis
Troubleshoot systems mechanically
Provide commissioning and start-up support
Provide technical support for customer base
