Job Description
Pivotal IT is seeking an experienced IT Field Service Engineer to join our close-knit team. The successful candidate will help support Pivotal ITs growing client base in Spartanburg, SC and surrounding areas.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong computer analysis and diagnostic skills with the ability to implement quick and effective solutions to network problemsExperience installing and/or supporting a variety of Windows based network environments for multiple clientsProficiency in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting networking hardware and services including HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs, routing and switchingExperience installing, configuring, diagnosing, and resolving issues with Windows Server, Desktop OS, Microsoft SMB Applications, Email Systems and Anti-Virus softwareFamiliarity with backup and recovery software and methodologiesAbility to adapt on the fly to accommodate priority issuesMust be able to work independently with minimal supervisionProfessional appearance, e xcellent people skills, telephone manner, and communication skillsReliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help our clients achieve optimum use of their computer networks with on-site and remote support for issues escalated by our Help Desk
- Deliver, install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, switches, firewalls, wireless access points and other networking equipment at client facilities
- Create, administer, and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights
- Work proactively to ensure the best performance of client systems with minimal interruptions and ensure Service Level Agreements are met for all clients
- Concisely describe work performed and accurately document billable time via ConnectWise CRM including all additions and changes made to client environments
- Participate in on-call rotationSalary DOEHours are 8am to 5pm
