FIELD TECHNICIAN/ASSISTANT
Job Summary:

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Field Technician / Assistant to support daily property operations across our residential portfolio. This role combines general handyman skills, routine inspections, and on-the-ground assistance with property management/real estate tasks. Ideally suited for someone who’s proactive, takes pride in fixing things correctly, and is well-organized. Think of it as handyman meets assistant property manager — minus the license. This is an all-around-onsite/virtual office role — perfect for those who can switch from repairing, to checking on vacant units, helping with move-in/move-out preparations/inspections, and being the go-to for anything urgent on-site. You will be working closely with the owner/property manager on-site and virtually as well as communicating directly with property owners and tenants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine/general maintenance and repairs (minor plumbing and electrical, light carpentry, drywall repairs/painting, etc.)
  • Conduct regular property inspections/walk-throughs and report findings (including safety checks, occupancy status, assessments)
  • Assist with unit turnovers, move-ins and move-outs, tenant showings (cleaning, lock changes, basic repairs)
  • Support vendors and contractors on-site, ensuring scope and quality of work
  • Handle small improvement projects or upgrades as needed
  • Occasionally assist with administrative or logistical tasks at the direction of property management/real estate matters
  • Enter/manage/respond to work orders through online property management system
  • Adding/removing signs and lockboxes
Required:
  • 3+ years’ experience in property maintenance, property management, or equivalent real estate experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and organize time effectively
  • Must be detail-oriented, and 5-star customer-service focused
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Must have at own tools
  • Ability to perform physical work in various environments and adapt to changes
Job Types:
