Germany Company:
Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Field Service Representative to support the P-8A Poseidon at Nordholz Navel Air Base (NAB), Germany by helping troubleshoot aircraft and mission system problems. This is a Long-Term Assignment to Germany after initial familiarization training and visa processing. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided. Ability to meet international assignment health requirements required. If accompanied, family must also meet international assignment health requirements. You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet the needs of our customers. Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements. Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.
Position Responsibilities:
Act as resident expert to develop and recommend solutions to a wide variety of technically complex P-8 operational problems Work with German Navy Sailors and US Navy Fleet Support Team (FST) to troubleshoot 737NG aircraft and P-8 mission-systems issues Extract relevant information from Boeing drawings and command media not available to the Customer Identify replacement part numbers for items that are not in the Navy supply chain Provide on-the-job training to Sailors Solicit customer feedback and take action to improve satisfaction with our service offerings. As the P-8 International Program’s “forward sensor”, recognizing and reporting potential customer needs and documenting operational activities are key responsibilities. Although standard working hours are the norm, the position requires a willingness to work flexible hours to support the mission and end user as needed. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): A minimum of 5 years working with 737NG or P-8A aircraft systems A minimum of 3 years working with aircraft mission systems A minimum of 5 years flight line maintenance experience A current/active United States Passport Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation. At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able to relocate to a variety of locations (domestic and international) to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Failure to relocate will be considered as a resignation. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Currently hold an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license Understanding of aircraft maintenance and parts manuals & engineering drawings, especially wiring diagrams Experience troubleshooting electrical and avionics problems/issues Experience working with US Navy Aviation (NAVAIR) Experience with the P-3 or P-8 aircraft operations or sustainment At least one year of Quality Assurance experience in an aircraft maintenance or production environment Ability to work independently without direct oversight

Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country Because the candidate selected will be expected to go on an international assignment, the offer will be contingent upon the candidate’s ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned. These contingencies also apply to any/all family members who may be relocating with the candidate.
