WATER UTILITY WORKERTown of Century, Florida Make a Difference. Power a Community. Are you ready to get your hands dirty and help keep Century running strong? The Town of Century is looking for a dedicated, safety-minded, and motivated Water Department Utility Worker to join our team!

What Youll Do:

You’ll be out in the field, ensuring the safe and reliable delivery of clean water to our residents and businesses. From responding to water leaks and system emergencies to installing and maintaining critical infrastructureyou’ll be a frontline hero in our essential services team.

What Were Looking For:

We’re seeking candidates with a high school diploma or GED, a valid Florida Drivers License, and ideally, some experience working with water systems or underground utilities. If youre not already certified, dont worrywell help you get there!

You Should Be

• Skilled with tools and equipment
• Comfortable with maps, meters, and mobile devices
• Physically able to lift, dig, and work in the elements
• A team player with strong communication and safety-first mindsetBe Ready for

Action:

This position participates in a rotating on-call schedule (yes, even weekends and holidays because water emergencies dont take time off). In return, youll gain valuable experience, meaningful work, and the chance to build a stable, long-term career in the utility industry.
