The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in restoring properties affected by water damage, fire, and other disasters. This position requires hands-on work with various tools and equipment to ensure that properties are returned to their pre-loss condition. A strong understanding of the restoration industry and a commitment to quality service are essential. Duties Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for restoration tasks. Perform water damage restoration, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes. Conduct fire restoration services, including smoke damage cleanup and odor removal. Execute carpet cleaning and restoration tasks to restore flooring to its original state. Assist with asbestos abatement procedures when necessary, following safety protocols. Build and repair structures as needed during the restoration process. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project status and needs. Requirements Previous experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to restoration tasks. Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques and fire restoration processes. Familiarity with carpet cleaning methods is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
