FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Job Summary Customers’ site visits may require overnight or weekend travel Identify, inspect, modify, maintain, and troubleshoot and repair Perform routine preventive maintenance Experience Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components Experience using handheld and powered tools Experience using multimeters, volt meters and precision measuring instruments Experience working with 120V, 240V and 480V Knowledge of hydraulics, plumbing, pneumatics, and piping Mechanical and electrical aptitude Repairing or replacing defective parts using hand & powered tools Job Functions Clean, maintain, and organize the assigned office Learn to complete field service quotations & reports Read blueprints and repair manuals Follow company rules and regulations Follow checklist to for start-ups, inspections, and maintenance Maintain, update, and inventory parts assigned to office Read, study & discuss processes related to company products Operate & educate the customer on operating the machine Diagnose failures based on descriptions from a machine operator Personal Skills Learn company values, develop common sense, possess integrity. Proficient and professional with phone skills & Microsoft outlook Professional in appearance and conduct as a company representative. Skilled in customer service, communications, and empathy Skilled in time management, critical thinking and establishing interpersonal relationships Work Values and Abilities High School diploma or equivalent is required

Hours:

Monday thru Friday 08:00 AM to 5:00 PM, weekends when needed Pass background and drug test Pay ranges from: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour-based experience and local market rates Physically fit to perform job description Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function Required excellent driving record and provide department of transportation transcript Reports to Service Manager & Technical Advisor Fair Labor Standards Act status (FLSA) : Non-exempt Standard Occupational Classification (SOC)
