Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Service and Installation Technician to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting custom-built industrial machinery in client facilities. This role requires mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic proficiency, along with strong communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Time not travelling will be spent at our manufacturing facility performing final assembly, debug and testing on new equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform on-site installation and commissioning of custom industrial manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and control system issues. Provide routine maintenance, service, and upgrades on installed equipment. Interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and control diagrams. Train customer personnel on equipment operation and maintenance procedures. Document service and installation reports accurately and timely. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve equipment reliability and serviceability. Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies during field work. Travel to customer sites across [regions or countries] as required.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience working with industrial automated machinery. Strong mechanical, electrical, and control systems troubleshooting skills. Proficient in reading technical drawings and schematics. Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems is a plus. Familiarity with pneumatic systems. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to self-start and work independently in a field environment. Valid driver’s license and passport (or willingness to obtain one for international travel). HS Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Experience:

Background in machinery, robotics, or complex assembly lines. Technical certifications or vocational training in mechatronics, industrial maintenance, automation or related field. OSHA or other industry safety training.
